Happy New Year 2013

Well, it has been nearly 3 hour since the countdown of this New Year. Though i should be sleeping right now, i'm still awake writing this blog post. I was kinda awake anyways because of  a certain event which i will explain in another post. Lets just leave this post dedicated to New Year only.

Celebrate what again? o-o

Maybe its a new clean start for people who had done many mistakes in the past year 2012 and wish to better themselves in the upcoming year.

With New Year resolution status updates everywhere, they seem to take only this opportunity to change.

Why don't you just have this resolution everyday regardless any event that takes place?

So your only planning to change once a year?

Or Maybe during some other occasions?

Yes i know, Humans are not perfect.

Humans also tend to make mistakes. When there are mistakes, there are always correction. You should correct yourself every time you make a mistake. Don't wait for something to happen just so you can use it to change yourself.

Then again, New Year is a fresh opening.

Try not to make any mistakes this year which has just begun.

 To those out there, Happy New Year.
As for me, i don't really celebrate this. Most people out there celebrate outside, going out with friends or maybe even having a party.
I'm just happy enough that i'm still here living life to its fullest.
Appreciating every moment i have be4 i finally hit the sack.
Well, you only live life once so might as well live life to its fullest.

Which reminds me of the movie, Wreck-it Ralph.
I'm taking one game at a time.

MapleStory Post "Ultimate Explorer"

So few days ago, i started my Quest to start hunting peridots for the creation of my "Ultimate Explorer". You are required to hunt 5 Peridots from either Harps or Blood Harps at leafre. Peridots are used for the Queen to bestow her blessing the the individual knight mentioned in my previous post.

I'm just glad that they reduced the amount of peridots needed to be collected from 10 to 5

Decided to finally claim and use my Twin Coupon (1 day) for the hunt of the Peridots. I figured that i could use all the help i could get.

Surprisingly, it only took me around 2 hours to collect all 5 peridots. I would kinda jump whenever i see a blue ball dropped my the Blood Harps haha.

After bringing the 5 Peridots to her, she blesses you with other unique skills that will help you with the battle against other bosses such as Akuarium which i haven't done yet @.@

Ultimate Explorer!

Decided to make a UA Viper as the skills kinda look nice and the playstyle doesn't differ much i guess @.@ But i'm really gonna have to get used without Flash Jump. From what i hear,the Stance effect is also an improvement to Viper Class

So i guess my next target lvl for this is lv 70 xD
Though i'm still more to my Shadower as that is my main character. Hopefully i can really make this my secondary char that actually reaches lv 12x then stopping at 10x which is most of my character.

MapleStory Post " Knights of Cygnus Completion"

Better ready your reading Glasses! Cause this is gonna be very long post! XD

So Last week, My Soul Master, Knights of Cygnus finally reached lv 120! WhootS!

And now its time to complete the last and final quest of Knights of Cygnus Character!

 So you start off by getting a quest notification on the left side of the screen. The Light Bulb in between the Star Quest and Justice Coin Quest.

 Nineheart then tells you then the knight Dunamis has gone missing after going to collect information and Orbis. He then tells you that the last known spot of Dunamis was at El Nath

When i reached El Nath, i had no clue whatsoever what am i suppose to do or whom i was suppose to talk to. As a result i wasted 20 minutes of my miserable time figuring out what to do. There were so many light bulb of quest everywhere @.@
The worst part is that there is no guide in the Quest list in the beginning ~.~

Finally after talking to the correct NPC, she continues talking about how Dunamis and Scadur was close friend, That Dunamis was a danger seeker that never really bothered about the danger that lies ahead.
And Finally after talking to her, She then mentions that Dunamis spends his free time hunting Zombies.
I was like Whaaaaaaaaaat? I'm suppose to hunt Coolie? @.@
Regardless i didn't have anything else to do so i traveled to the hunting place.

So That is what the Black Scale for.
After hunting a few Zombies, some of them..... well most of them drops the black scale. After picking up a piece, a quest notification pops out
Spiruna then talks to you about the black scale and how Dunamis also bought a piece of black scale to her.
I had to travel up back to Orbis =3=

Yeap, She sure did took a scale from Dunamis lol

She continues talking about the scale and when the phrase
"scales are from a special dragon"
I though Evan was involved xD but i was wroong :/

That piece of Dragon Scale made me travel all the way to Leafre ._.
Chief Tatamo then explains all about the Banished Dragon Race in between Manon and Griffey's forest.
Hmmm i wonder who might that be?

No Surprises there haha.
I mean most people past through this forest to get the either Manon or Griffey. Unless they only allow people who have quest to enter through this route.
Nix seems to recognise Dunamis...

The Scales are definitely from him but he doesn't move out from the forest at all times. How is his scales supposedly out there being passed aroud? Hmmmm....

It took me like more then a day just to complete the next part of the quest =='
You agree to help him hunt Manon and Griffey to clear the way so he could "move around" freely.
I mean COME ON! They keep respawning~ How does this help you lol

Finally after killing both those stupid idiots, i progress through the quest =='
He talks about a Black Witch that lives waaaay deep around the Dragon's Nest. When i saw "Dragon's Nest" My heart dropped as i needed to get a Bishop to door me inside that area as 50 fam is a requirement to enter that place :/
Lucky for me, i had a Bishop character in my brother's account xD

The place was located all the way inside in the Skelegon spawning Area. I wonder how most KOCs make it by without dying or burning pots @.@ as fighting them will only burn even more lol

i arrive at the scene to fight a Marble with a Light Bulb on its head. trololol
After "interacting" with the Marble, Dunamis's voice comes out informing you that the search is complete and he went back to Erev to finish the report. He left this voice recording to inform any other Knights that appear in this search area to return to Erev...

After Travelling back to Erev, (all the way from Leafre ._.)
Nineheart then told you that Dunamis never returned to Erev. He then state that your suppose to be supporting Dunamis~
Then He ask you to go to the same area to search for clues....
ALL THE WAY BACK TO LEAFREEEEEEEEEEEEEE :<

When you arrive back at the same location, You see a Fallen Knight who i assumed to be Dunamis. The moment you click on him, you are transported back to Erev

The Divine Bird,Shinsoo then explains that that Erev is being cursed by the Black Witch and ask me to finish her to save Erev and be the HERO! XD
Though it didn't say anything about the hero part =P

She then explains how she cursed Erev, How its much easier to curse something that its impenetrable from the inside then from the outside where all the protection is.

The Knights of Cygnus is really a collection of inexperienced knights serving a 10 year old girl. They are no match for Black Wing, since we have served Black Wizard for hundreds of years.

Tell that to a lv 120 Soul Master that cannot reach lv 200 xD
As you talk to her, there will 1 point that will be like a quest (Accept Decline)
If you agree with her, she says Ask you to run along and have fun =='
But if you Decline, She then starts the Battle with you.
Its soooo funny that she doesn't even realise your a knight and just ask you to move along after cursing the entire Erev, She shouldn't be expecting any visitors ryte? XD

All the Instructors are Stoooooooooooooooooneeed~ lol
I died the first time due to Reflect. Its not a 1-hit ko reflect but more of each hit, around 2k is reflected back. I wasn't paying attention to the Reflect sign and died after a few Brandish.
After death, your actually revived back at Leafre @.@
So i had to door myself back to the cave and talk to the Fallen knight again to be transported back to the same map at Erev

It was time for Round 2! XD

This time i was more careful and even making full use of Magic Crash.
So this time she couldn't even cast Reflect XD
After defeating her, She teleports out (just like any other Black Wing member that you kill)
And Erev is saveeed.
YEaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay~ =P
You talk back to Shinsoo and exit on the left side of the map returning Erev back to normal.

You Don't Say Empress?

If nothing else, this chain of events makes one thing crystal clear. Its that you have put in countless hours of hard work to better yourself and be in position to make a positive contribution like this, not just for yourself but for the Knights of Cygnus.

Thats because i is AWESOME~
And that ends the Last and Final Quest for KOC

And the Moment Of Truth comes!
Ultimate Explorer!
The quest starts off with the name Empress Blessing.
She then explains that she can bestow her grace upon you but that power is getting weaker as she has been bestowing lots and lots of knights. Her Abilities come from a gem called Peridot.

And so the Hunt begins!

Though last time it was 10 Peridots ><
I'll most probably start the hunt 2morow as i'm going back to my Shadower after i get back. :)

And who couldn't forget Akarium? XD

I'm guessing this will progress through the KOC side of Akarium but who knows?

I'll try out this Story Quest some other time~ =P

MapleStory Post "Azwan Liberation!"

Azwan Liberation is finally here! xD

Most of you know what this is about as you all are actually more informed then me cause you all are playing different server beseides MSEA such as GMS or KMS. I even hear that some of you are even playing Japan MapleStory O-o

Well enough about that...

So yeah, in Azwans Liberation, There are a few modes and a few ways you can attempt to free the traps spirits. In my opinion its not really much of spirits being trapped, its just that Hilla is trying raise an army and you have to stop her and some other crap XD

Before i go any further...

Ok back to topic =P

There are total of 4 modes available
Defend
Attack
Occupy
Supply

Mostly people will attempt Attack mode as it is the most easiest to finish and gives a decent amount of Honor Points after Victory is obtained.
What is Honor points?
Honor points is used for Honor level

Your Honor Level is what determines how many Inner Abilities you have and whatCirculators you can use to reset and upgrade them.

You’ll get an Inner Ability slot at Honor Lv. 2, 30, and 70, and a higher Honor Level will also allow you to buy better Circulators. As you increase your Honor Level, you’ll also get a small number of Circulators to reset and upgrade your abilities.

The maps differ for Party play and Solo play as the Party Play maps will be of course bigger.
When it starts, your main objective is to push through the defense and destroy the Guardian Tower. The picture on top is just a sub tower that actually prevents you from proceeding to the final tower. For some jobs, this tower is capable of doing damage as high as their life so they can't bypass the tower until it is taken down.
However, by using a few skills or if your life is high enough, you will be able to just walk through like a BAWS XD
This tower can also cast skills such as Rocks falling down which brings down your lfie based on your Maximum life. The rocks will float in air for awhile as a warning before falling down and dealing damage to any party member in range

When you reach the last end of the map, you will encounter the Guardian Tower. Take down this tower and Victory is yours.

This tower has multiple attack skills which stack up causing death if hp is not recovered after the first hit. However, this tower alost has a 1-hit ko skill as well.
There will be warning of signs before a blast of energy comes out from the ground resulting in death no matter how high your avoid, defense or life.

Don't Fret! Your experiance bar doesn't go down. If it does then my exp would always remain at 0% whenever i go for Azwan. haha
After 5 seconds of colldown, you respawn back at the beginning of the map which is the left side where you have to make your way to the right side again until the Guardian Tower is down and Victory is yours.

When victory is obtained, Honor points is given based on your performance and monsters defeated. I'm not really sure how the Honor Points is calculated as my Party always rushes in to the Guardian Tower and downs it within 30 seconds. Unless the Tower knocks all of them out using the 1-hit ko skill
After Victory, you are transported out again and this is repeated multiple times to obtain as much Honor Points as you can to lvl up your Honor level as Honor Points can only be obtained from 2pm to 8pm daily

As usual, during this time, many Maplers would be on9 trying to enter this Azwan Liberation and there is only a set time to obtain this Honor Points. On each entry my com would actually hang for a few seconds be4 showing the map @.@

You can check your Honor level and Honor Points in your Ability Stats window below your Level and Experience. This wad you can moniter how much more Points you need for the next level and determine how far away you are until you unlock another Inner Ability.

Inner Ability?

Inner Abilities are ranked C, B, A, and S, with S being the highest. Abilities with higher ranks will give you bigger stat boosts, and S rank abilities can give whopping boosts of 10% or more!

There are Inner Abilities for almost all stats (STR, LUK, DEX, etc.), but some abilities add unexpected stats, like adding to the number of enemies hit by a multi-target skill, or boosting damage to targets afflicted with a status ailment.

You can also reset your Inner Ability by using Circulators.

Inner Abilities are assigned randomly. If you’re not happy with the ability you get, you can reset it using items called Circulators. Aside from resetting abilities, Circulators also have a chance to raise the ranks of your abilities.

Azwan merchants sell Circulators of varying grades, and your Honor Level dictates which grades you’re able to buy. The least powerful Circulators are grade 10, and they improve all the way to grade 1. Circulators with a lower grade are more likely to upgrade your Inner Abilities to higher ranks.

I found this information from GMS website. Though i'm not sure MapleStorySEA has this in their cash shop.

Be careful when using Circulators! If you have more than 1 Inner Ability and you use a Circulator, it will reset all abilities. If you have a rank that you’d like to keep while resetting others, you can use an Inner Potential Lock to secure that ability's rank and ensure that it won’t be changed with the rest (however, the ability itself WILL be reset). Inner Potential Locks can only be bought in the Cash Shop during special promotions.

To use a Circulator, simply double-click it and choose "OK." All abilities that aren’t protected by an Inner Ability Lock will be randomly reset.

If you concentrate on raising your honor and resetting your Inner Abilities to find the perfect combination, you can significantly improve your character’s stats and effectiveness in battle
