Women's Health Public Health Campaign

Yeah I know I haven't posted anything in time.
In fact, This is probably the first post the year sooo anywhoooo...

There was a public health campaign event at my university few days ago. Few booths were open for the pubic to know more about the themed "Women's Health" where you could ask or know more about your menstrual cycle and other related topics.

There was even a blood drive for those who wanted to donate blood and also a health screening booths so you could check your blood pressure, blood glucose levels, and also your BMI If not mistaken. There was also a Blackmore booth that offered to check your blood density? I wanted to check this but I got there too late because I attended a talk xD
Mainly given by BAYER and few others.
Talks were given about menstruation, menopause, family planning, contraception, and cosmeceuticals.
All were fairly interesting except the last one because I wasn't really paying attention (Sorry ><)

I was suppose to come later just for the talk or come a bit earlier if I wanted to join the booth events as well as donate blood which I can't because I'm thin as a stick. The plan was to study at the library after I have done exploring and return later for the talk.
BUUUUUTTTT
Somehow some way I was asked for help in moving the foods as well as the drink boxes to the theater that is going to have the talk.
And it was then I became a helper committee ish person xD
Not really complaining but at least I got to do something that morning other then studying which I should probably do more often because all the test are starting to come along with more assignments and... and...AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH

Anyways, I decided to help out because I wanted to try something new.
There won't always be time for me to do something different even if it is something that makes me uncomfortable. I was feeling less of it because I was hanging out in different parts of the events. (And not that ones that are out of my comfort zone)
But maybe 1 day I will.
Well eventually I suppose.
Because sooner or later I will still face the same "situation" when I'm in a working environment.
Back to the topic, Women's Health!
The crowd was fairly huge in the morning. Can't say the same for the evening because I wasn't there and was in the tallk
The year 2 students had a somewhat similar talk on the same topic with the same company but different people so it was quite the same.
Except this time, most year 2 students were not there xD
Even for year 1, I doubt there was more then 60%? Well maybe a little even more

There was a little food served outside the talk for Tea.
It was nothing much but at least it was something.
Karipap and Fried Mihun.

But hey it's free food :D
At the end of the day, I started to think more towards what did I get from today.
Would it had been better if I just stayed in the library and study for my upcoming subjects?
Well.... Maybe....
But that is not the point xD
The point is I should always try and get out of my comfort zone for me to learn new things.
I may not like it, yes, But at least I learnt something from it.

After all, I am going to be a pharmacist in the mere future (Hopefully)
And hopefully get more updates out from this blog. (Mostly lazy and out of time :3)
