MapleStory Post "Lunchbox event"

Yes, It has been a very long time since I made any post about MapleStory.

Recently, I started back again because of a certain friend invitation to play back. Started just messing around with stuff until I saw somebody mega the current "lunchbox event badge" Lania's Triple lunch set something? I don't know.

But what I do know that the completed badge gives off all stat 28 with ma/wa 13 if not mistaken. 

So before its too late. I started doing the event myself. And I must say it is indeed quite tedious and can sometimes just make you wanna fling your laptop off.

Let's Begin!

Okay first, You have to accept the current lunchbox quest on the left hand side of your screen in the "star" icon to begin.

The Maple Administrator will talk to you about making lunch for some other NPCs. She then tells you to go out and hunt ingredients required to make "lunchbox" for 4 people.

Each Lunchbox requires 3 ingredients.

(You can use combinations of multiple ingredients or the same ingredient 3 times)

There is also a limit to how many lunchbox you can craft a day which brings about a total of 50 lunchbox a day.

So time is really of the essence in this quest. If you start late, you have to be really lucky. I'll explain why later on xD

 Okay. There are total of 10 ingredients that you can acquire through hunting monsters.
(I think the monster that drops the ingredients have to be somewhat around the level of the character you use)

50 lunchbox a day. 1 lunchbox = 3 ingredients.
50 lunchbox = 150 ingredients per day.
This is to maximize the most amount of lunchbox that you can produce each day.

After gathering the required amount of ingredients, It's time for your luck to come in

You go back to the Maple Administrator to complete the quest. You are required to have 4 lunchbox in your inventory the first time you enter. I'll tell you more about crafting the lunchbox later on.
After accepting the quest, You will be transported to another map where 4 NPCs will be waiting for you

 Upon entry you will receive an Unknown Lunch Box Badge that gives no stats whatsoever.

DO NOT THROW THIS AWAY AS THEY WILL USE THIS TO UPGRADE. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF YOU ACCIDENTALLY DROPPED IT.
Note that this badge is also untradable so you should proceed to do this event in the character of choice.

 To craft the lunch box, Just simply double click any of the necessary ingredient.
You will need to select 3 ingredients before crafting a single lunchbox

"Why is it in the Use Tab?"
Each lunchbox will give you different boast depending on the colour that its crafted. I haven't tried it out yet but I found out the effects somewhere else.

Dark Blue = 2x Exp for 30 minutes
Blue = Weapon/Magic Att + 40 for 10 minutes
Green = Weapon/Magic Att + 5, 1.5x Exp for 30 minutes
Orange = Weapon/Magic Att + 20 for 30 minutes
Normal = Weapon/Magic Att + 30 for 30 minutes
Unknown = Random Effect
Yellow = Speed + 20, Jump + 10 for 30 minutes
Red = Weapon/Magic Att + 10, Weapon/Magic Defense +10 Acc/Avoid + 20, Speed/Jump + 3 for 30           minutes
Purple = Speed + 20, Jump + 20  for 30 minutes

So you are suppose to be currently at this picture once you entered the new map.
4 lunchbox ready to be given to the NPCs for testing.

Now the Luck Comes in!
You are required to hand in the 4 lunchbox that you have made to the stated NPC.
They will eat your food and from that 3 outcomes is possible.

1. Bad Ending

They Slap you and you fight all 4 of them

They drop Uneaten Lunch box which can be changed into any other colour lunchbox of choice given a number of uneaten lunch box.

2. Normal Ending

They eat your lunchbox and nothing happens xD

3. Good Ending

This is the ending you should be aiming for.
After eating your very delicious meal, The NPC will upgrade your badge to the next level.

From there, It will always be rinse and repeat until you get Lania's Triple Lunch Box.
I heard you have to get a total of 18 good endings to have the final results.
9 times on Chief Stan followed by another 9 times on Lania.

I also heard Lania slaps more often then Chief Stan. @.@

So far I have only upgraded mine twice today.
Hopefully I will update more about this lunchbox tomorrow.

Some people ask whether is there a set combination of lunchbox that will confirm guarantee a good ending to save time and consecutively upgrade the badge and finish it in 2 days?

Most people say that the outcome of each lunchbox is totally random and you have to pray hard that each time you hand in the lunchbox, it would be a good ending and your badge is upgraded.

Well, I also have seen other people posting their combinations of lunchbox and their outcomes so most likely I'll do that as well starting tomorrow because I was experimenting today and I forgot to record down the combinations I made along with the results xD
All I know is that I had 2 successful good endings for now. :3
